Forbes Asia's fourth annual Best Under A Billion list focuses on Asia-Pacific companies with under $1 billion in sales. The winners were culled from 24,155 publicly listed outfits. More than a quarter of last year's companies return in 2008. All increased sales and profits over the past 12 months. Consumer technology, commercial real estate, clean energy producers and business services led the way.
ETI to build mini-generators for Third World nations
GEORGE TOWN: ETI Tech Corp Bhd will start producing portable mini-generators for Third World countries this month.
The rechargeable portable mini-generators were targeted at rural areas where there were frequent power disruptions, executive director Dennis Chuah told StarBiz.
Dubai fund stake buy to add synergy to ETI Tech
PETALING JAYA: Dubai-based private investment fund Al Yousuf LLC's acquisition of a 15% stake in Mesdaq-listed battery maker ETI Tech Corp Bhd for RM71.48mil will add synergy to the latter's existing business and perhaps diversify its earnings base later on.

A United Arab Emirates (UAE) based private investment fund Al Yousuf LLC bought into Mesdaq-listed ETI tech Corporation Bhd, acquiring a 15% stake for RM71.48mil.

believes better things are in store as it rolls out more battery solutions in the coming quarters.
