The Silver State will go green within a year - the deadline set for the private sector to stop using lead batteries and replace them with the environment-friendly lithium ones.

TENOM: Lebih kurang 200 penduduk Kg. Sumambu membabitkan 41 keluarga yang kini menikmati bekalan elektrik melalui sistem solar hybrid yang bernilai lebih kurang RM200,000.00.
Projek solar hybrid yang dilaksanakan oleh syarikat Compugates itu dibiayai dengan peruntukan khas Ahli Parlimen Tenom Datuk Raime Unggi.

A TIE-UP between ETI Tech Corp Bhd and Compugates Holdings Bhd has installed a mini solar power system using lithium batteries for 41 homes in Kampung Sumambu,Tenom, Sabah.
Powerful 2.2kg generator

TENOM: It was developed for hawkers, but now it appears to be very useful for people in remote places where there is no power supply.
ETI Tech Kampung Sumambu project manager K.S. Loh said the company first developed a 2.2kg generator set that uses polymer lithium batteries for hawkers to power lights at their stalls at night. The generators are charged using electricity.
