With reference to your letter dated January 8, 2008 (Ref: MM-080108-54050), we would like to explain the sentence as appeared in Nanyang Siang Pau, Business Section, page C3 on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 which states that Emirates Investment & Development Co. is expected to acquire another 10% to 15% stake in ETITECH.

We write to confirm that we are in the discussion stage with Emirates Investment & Development Co., which has shown interest to invest further in the Company.

However, at this moment, both parties have yet to finalize the discussion and confirm the details in writing.

The necessary announcements will be made as soon as possible once we have finalized the aforesaid discussion.
